Spawning Mediums

There are many things that Corydoradinae fishes will use as a medium to deposit their eggs on or in. These can include natural items such as plant roots, stems and leaves or more solid structures like rocks or it could just be the glass sides of the aquarium. The main artificial medium used are spawning mops, these are a DIY item and produced from polyester knitting wool.
